ORIGINAL PAINTING! “WINDOW IN TANGIERS”… this floral still life featuring lush blooms in a tamegroute bowl is from my series called POSTCARDS FROM MOROCCO featuring paintings inspired by my travels to Morocco. The saturated colors and exotic feel of each piece in this collection is inspired by the colors and beautiful artisan work found throughout the marketplaces I wandered, taking in every rich detail and reinterpreting them into this inspired series of florals and still life pieces.
This mixed media original artwork features my signature florals in acrylic paint with textiles and hand dyed rice paper collage woven throughout on a stretched canvas. Sides are painted white and this piece is titled and signed on the back and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
