The General Library of the University of Salamanca as we know nowadays was founded in 1509, although it is originated in 1254 in the reign of Alfonso X and created in 1470 in the Old Chapel.
The interior doors of the library made me think of the book’s spine in a library, being that the shape of our folding screen brings the image to my memory, for that we baptize it with the name of Salamanca. Labeled by Maker
