Beautiful, very rare ceramic figurine, designed by Michael Powolny (1871-1954), made in Vienna in 1910-12.
This extraordinary ceramic figurine is made of light-colored body, hollow, without a base and painted and glazed in color. Designed by the famous Art Nouveau artist and founding member of the "Wiener Keramik" workshop, Michael Powolny, the model is called Krinoline, model number 108
It depicts a lady in a wide green dress, her hair pinned up, holding a garland of flowers.
Marked on the inside with the designer's monogram MP and the pictorial mark of Wiener Keramik, as well as the model number 108.
Approx. dimensions: height 30.5 cm - 12.01 in, width 26 cm - 10.24 in, depth 22 cm - 8.66 in.
Exceptionally good condition, no restorations, chips or cracks. Wonderful general condition.
