As you … Read more Here is an incredible Asian Chinoiserie black lacquered chest that is highly decorated with gorgeous scenes in gold. As you can see, the artwork is very detailed and sophisticated. On the top, there is a central circular design that looks like a phoenix, with the long feathers. Surrounding the center are more ornate, large winged birds, flowers and leafy details. The trunk has two black metal handles on each side with matching black hinge on the front. It opens to a leather lined interior in a lovely light brown color. So special! I love that this piece would be a standout anywhere and is super versatile - you could use it at the foot of a bed, or as a coffee table or in a hallway, closet, etc. See less
