we love its xl format, with its two parts, top and bottom and all these unique elements that make up the whole.
the cabinetmaking work carried out on this piece of furniture is very qualitative, the moldings, the inserts, the details brought to the whole are simply incredible.
the more opulent lower part contrasts with the more wired and elegant upper part with its glass doors.
the roundings on the windows give a softer touch to the whole.
the wide cornice and the vertical molded elements are all details which give this piece of furniture a certain quality and charm.
the lower part consists of two high drawers, with keys (the lock on the right no longer seems functional), two hinged doors opening onto large storage spaces and a “hidden” low drawer. The wide plinth completes the whole.
the top, which fits perfectly on the bottom, with the help of grooves is less deep but higher. A cornice covers the top (it can be separated for transport). Three shelves with adjustable cleats serve as storage.
two large glass doors, with original bubbled glass, complete the whole.
this piece of furniture is very old, obviously it has a patina, possible defects or marks in the wood. Note, a small lack of wood on the bottom box on the left back side, a small chip in the wood on the left door, also the high cornice which is removed from the top has cracked on the right side (very discreet once installed) at the level of the groove. Please refer to the numerous photos.
this piece of furniture is very heavy, obviously. However, it can be disassembled into several parts.
