A pair of armchairs designed by Josef Hoffmann for Cabaret Fledermaus, Austria, 1905. In original and good condition. The original upholstery did not withstand the pressure of time and was replaced with upholstery made of natural leather. The joinery is covered with original, white varnish. Timeless, comfortable form. Despite their Art Nouveau origins, the armchairs are icons of design to this day. The armchairs are signed. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
