Cool primitive firkin bucket from about the mid 20th century. The piece is made of natural oak wood with wonderful curved wood craftmanship and sits on three turned wood legs. The firkin buckets were originally designed to be one-quarter the size of a barrel and used for storing dry goods in the home. The center section is removeable. This piece has so many uses around your home- add glass for a side table, store various items, or use as a planter.
Overall dimensions are 12-1/2" diameter x 25" high to the top of handle, or 19-1/2" high to top of bucket.
Bucket alone is 12-1/2" diameter x 11-1/2" high.
