Italian Midcentury "Sapporo" Nutwood Armchairs by Mario Marenco for Mobil Girgi
A beautiful set of 2 walnut arm chairs, designed by Mario Marenco for Mobil Girgi, Italy 1970's.
Beautifully designed with angled front legs which extend to the sides and back, the back support is slightly curved. Extremely soft and comfortable.
The rich grain and beautiful color of the nut wood contrasts beautifully with the lovely and very soft new Italian chenille fabric in cream color.
The whole design reflects the modern and organic period of the 1970's in Italy.
Both arm chairs are marked with "Mobil Girgi".
The arm chairs are just completely reupholstered with very soft Italian Chenille fabric with haptic effect.
Overall almost excellent condition. This piece has an attribution mark,
I am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
