Featuring intricately … Read more Magnificent set of ten English Regency style klismos dining chairs includes two arm chairs and eight side chairs. Featuring intricately carved frames with burl wood inlay across the top of the frame. The fronts are upholstered in a green cut velvet and the backs are ivory with embroidered pink flowers. There are nailheads around the front and back. The klismos form curved back armchairs are conjoined by gracefully curved arms ending with large scrolls. The generous seat is bowed in front and supported by klismos splayed legs in the back and the front has beautifully fluted legs. Amazing condition with excellent joinery and craftsmanship seldom seen today even the underneath has upholstery weight fabric and trimmed with braiding. These chairs work perfectly with the dining table in the last picture which offered in another listing in my Shop. See less
