The travertine top can be removed as seen in most pictures. The two doors slide back into the inside of the cabinet displaying a TV stand and one shelf. The stand can be removed and more shelves (not included) can be added. There are two large drawers for added storage. The back has cutouts for ventilation and wires. This piece would be great for a bedroom or small retreat area. It can also be painted or lacquered and made into an armoire for a nursery. It was originally purchased at Bloomingdales in NYC.
