This iconic and sophisticated pair of wall sconces is crafted from brass and features two opposing shades: one with a truncated-cone shape and the other rounded. Both shades are made of sheet metal, painted black on the outside and white on the inside. The light bulb sockets are housed within the shades, while the electrical wiring runs through brass tubes that extend the shades from the wall. At the end of these tubes, two round, adjustable plates conceal the wires and the hook used to mount the sconces to the wall. The tubes are connected at the center of the two shades via a joint that allows a full 360° rotation, making it easy to adjust them to your preferences or interior design needs. When switched on, each sconce projects two opposing beams of light onto the wall: a narrow beam from the smaller shade and a wider beam from the larger shade. These sconces were made in an artisan workshop in Milan (Lombardy-Italy) specializing in lighting between 1980 and 1983.
