Impressive folk art carving, circa 1990.
A one of a kind and not to be missed! Titled "common crow" this piece is anything but common and certainly exceeds the typical decoy carving. Skillfully carved, this piece showcases a more monumental crow having a decidedly Arts & Crafts or WPA style. Well rendered with excellent detail throughout.
Measures 14"X 6.25"X 24. Minor handling wear and a few little surface marks. Signed "Common Crow Griffith" to base and signed "Griffith 90" under the tail.
