An abstract oil and gesso texture on canvas painting by American artist Etta Cien (1924-2009). An abstract nude figure is reclining in a textured abstract landscape of cream, orange, brown, and black. Signed "E. Cien" to the lower left corner, this painting is displayed in a black frame.
Etta Cien was a self-taught artist specializing in a variety of media including performance, painting, and music. Her husband, LeRoy Benjamin, and Cien owned and operated a framing business/art gallery in Hollywood called the "Hillside House of Originals".
