Stunning vintage Asian pottery covered pot, urn or ginger jar. Would make a lovely vase and then shelf decor with the lid back on when not in use. Also good for storage. This has Geishas painted on it. There is some slight iridescence in some of the glaze. Very pretty decorative piece.
The jar is in very good vintage condition. It has some tiny spots of paint visible upon very close inspection and there are some chips on the underside of the lid, which aren’t really visible from the top. This also has some crazing from age.
