Nilo's paintings from his Restaurant series are well known and acclaimed, and this work is one example his best.
The original painting is in the permanent collection exhibit of the Tabasco Museum. In Louisiana and has been published and is well documented...this is a Fine Canvas Giclee Reproduction of the original .

With his Tabasco work he make athe reference to Tabasco and the Historic New Orleans Louisiana Maylie's French Esparbe restaurant, which was the earliest fine restaurants in the United States .. Established in the 1850's.
It was here that Tabasco was used by the owner on the ice cream in the early 1900s as a delicacy.

In this fun and exciting Giclee painting, Nilo captures the moment that he introduced Tabasco on the Ice Cream to his daughter....as she pours it and her happily on her cone and all the well known foods served at Maylie's ,
