These charming figurines, originally inspired by the iconic English King Charles Spaniels, were once placed as status symbols in many Victorian and Edwardian interiors.

The dogs have an elegant, stately appearance and are finished with subtle hand-painted details. The original gold decoration has largely worn away, adding to their authentic patina and charm. Over time, light craquelure and some hairline cracks have developed on the surface. A marking in the shape of an 'X' is visible on the bottom.
