Gleeson (1915-1986) was an American artist renowned for his exquisite watercolor paintings. He was celebrated for his urban landscapes and cityscapes, often capturing the dynamic energy of urban life. In 'Rush Hour', Gleeson features a vibrant city with figures and buildings in a scene filled with movement and light. Rich colors of greens, blues, pinks, and earth tones adorn the framed and matted cityscape. Gleeson's signature and date appear in the lower right corner.
