A fantastic and very large Italian hand-made glazed terracotta sculpture in the shape of a pine cone made by Fortunata Italy sometime at the end of the 20th century and signed by the artist. This acorn was skillfully made and coated with a high shine glaze. It is a very versatile and can easily fit with a variety of design styles, from contemporary to mid-century modern or art deco.
It stands almost 22" tall and will stand out in a room. Place it atop of a pedestal or on a large console or coffee table and it will quickly demand attention. Definitely a conversation piece!
