The spoon features a stainless steel head with a series of teardrop-shaped slots and a wooden handle, which appears to be made of real bamboo. The handle is attached to the head with a metal ferrule and a rivet. The "Seki Hamono KK" maker's mark is stamped on the metal part of the spoon.
