This impressive amphora-shaped floor or table vase was created by the famous German ceramist Richard Uhlemeyer (1900-1954) at his own studio in Hanover during the late 1940s. Uhlemeyer developed a unique technique for the glaze of the surface of the ceramic vessels he designed. This piece has an attribution mark,
