The first vase is made of brass and stands 13.5 inches tall. It has a smooth, flared rim and a slender neck that gently widens into a bulbous base. The brass background is decorated with delicate enamel floral patterns, featuring white flowers with red accents, green leaves, and red blossoms.

In contrast, the second vase, a Japanese Champlevé Bronze Vase, stands at 9.5 inches tall. It has a cylindrical short body which narrows at the top to form a long wide neck, with dragon head handles, and at the bottom to form thick short stem. The vase is adorned with intricate Champlevé enamel work, a technique where depressions are cut into the metal and filled with powdered vitreous enamel. It is adorned with two bands of Egyptian-inspired frescoes—figures wearing loin skirts, some carrying gifts, while others are engaged in motion, set against a striking blue, brick-patterned background. The remaining surfaces are etched with geometric patterns, adding depth and complexity to the design.
