1957 Award-Winning German Teapot
" This Schott Verran glass teapot is a Bauhaus-inspired design classic, originally created in 1930 by Wilhelm Wagenfeld at the Bauhaus school and later reproduced in the 1950s by Heinrich Löffelhardt in collaboration with Schott & Genossen glass factory in Germany. This teapot’s timeless design won the 1957 Gold Medal at the Triennale in Milan and the 1960 Grand Prix, securing its place in design history. This teapot is exhibited in museums worldwide, including The Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) in NYC. "
