A great set of perforated metal tray and bowl of unknown age. The black enameled tray is similar in design to Mathieu Mategot's perforated trays and Richard Galef's work for Ravenware, including the use of bends in the metal to shape the tray. The bowl can be used as a catch-all, a basket, or as a decorative object. Its design looks like Harry Bertoia's diamond chair and George Nelson's coconut chair had a baby that was raised by Russell Woodard's Sculptura line. Both have clear influences but also fit into the postmodern aesthetic of the 1980s.
Both are in good vintage condition with very light wear consistent with age and use.
Tray is 15.5" x 9.5" x 2.5"
Bowl is 9" x 9" x 7"
