The cased glass Emeraldlite shade has remnants of its silvered signature/mark (pictured); perfect condition.

The most desirable japanned copper finish is in good condition, overall, with various minor losses. The original japanned copper socket has been replaced by a period antique socket which has a BRYANT turn-key, copper thread (or brass, copper-plated) switch installed.
The UNO shade fitter has the japanned finish (minor disturbances to the metal and finish).

The screw opposite the socket allows the positioning of the socket and shade. It travels along the curve, and swings left or right. The thumb screw at the junction of the top of the shaft and curved part allows the height to be increased by at least 6 inches.

Use any size (wattage) bulb you choose.

A variety of shallow dents on the part which covers the iron weight at the very bottom; these have been removed/repaired, showing a slightly uneven surface but resulting in an overall clean, vintage look. The iron base was possibly originally painted black but has been black-waxed for a better antique look than repainting would render. At some point an owner preferred to have the cord go directly from the piece above the socket into the end of the curved part; they drilled a hole in the iron weight to allow the cord to escape. So, the hole remains and if the new owner prefers, they can employ this technique. I prefer the original configuration, which has the cord winding around the curved part and the shaft.
