Pedrara Onyx, a banded sedimentary rock primarily composed of calcium carbonate. It is often mistaken for marble but is formed in caves by the dripping of stalactites and stalagmites.
Pedrara Onyx is highly figured such as this example. A fabricated table today would feature stone that is visually less complicated. This was likely a product by ‘’Mueller” of Mexico
