Cali cool old school at its finest. “California Desert & Flowers Near Palm Springs”: Vintage Palm Springs landscape of quiet mountain view in lovely, muted colors by listed California artist Drew, who was known for his landscapes. Signed en verso in pencil, titled, and dated by the artist on the brown wrapping of the back of the frame. The frame has lovely dark rose tones that reflect the same tones in the lower part of the painting. Showing losses in the corners and wear throughout, the frame is too amazing to replace, being of a piece with the piece. Ready to hang.
