A post-impressionist inspired still life with rich impasto and energetic quality which echoes the flower still life compositions of Van Gogh. A timeless and unique painting. Per the artist, “The most present thing, that resides deep within me, as if it has a life of it own is my connection to art. A connection I can feel running down my spine, flowing through my fingers and touching my core. It was not until a mature age, where I reached the decision to leave a solid stable structures and went to seek the source of my inner sole to find what disturbs my tranquility, this process is key to understanding my work.” From a private collection.
