The iconic "Pluff" was designed by Giancarlo Piretti for Anonima Castelli and produced in Italy in the late 1960s. These stylish and incredibly sturdy poufs have a structure in chromed metal with die-cast aluminum joints. The seat is in rigid colored polyurethane. The Pluff is part of the permanent collection of the MOMA Museum in New York, it is very rare and a set of these colors is almost impossible to find. The item is very stable, it works with its original feet. The brand is still visible. In amazing condition with very minimal signs of use and age. He attended art schools there and subsequently taught Interior Design. During that time, he was also designing furniture for Anonima Castelli. He has won numerous awards and has items in many museums, including MoMA, New York. He still lives and works in Bologna with his son, designer Alessandro Piretti. Anonima castelli is synonymous with top quality and essential elegance, a style that has been awarded many times, including three “compasso d'oro adi” awards. still today the company maintains a strong link with the history of design and carries on a heritage of knowledge and ideas. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
