The vase features a round, robust body and is adorned with two small handles, allowing it to be used not only as a standing vase but also to be elegantly hung for Ikebana arrangements. The surface showcases a unique, natural ash-glaze effect, created through the centuries-old wood-firing process characteristic of Shigaraki pottery.

This piece comes in an authentic wooden storage box (tomobako) with inscription.
