The sideboard is so magnificent and beautifully carved that it's really a true work of art. The figures are gilded and the carving is the best possible from one of teh best American cabinetmakers ever known. The piece is in good original finish and condition and features embossed tooled leather surfaces and a grand scale that makes even some large sideboards seem impossibly small by comparison. The piece is absolutely stunning.
