Large rustic swedish pine bench / day bed circa 1850.

Very heavy item. Ideal for a summer house or garden room. Lift up seat which allows the base to be pulled out to form a bed. N.B it no longer functions properly as a bed but is ideal storage space. Losses to left back rest and arm,  clear evidence of dead treated worm with losses to base boards.

Later early 20th century paint with flaking and losses, which has been stabilised to prevent further losses.

Replaced middle foot which has been hand crafted and coloured to match.

Great looking piece for that garden room, or in the hallway.
