Great antique accent pieces for your home, hailing from Jackfield (Shropshire) England, circa 1870.
Offered here is a classic set of pottery cockerels, reminiscent of Staffordshire animals. These are mold made and finished in a high black glaze with the relief details accented by gold glaze.
Measure 9.25"x 4.75"x 11.5". Most of the gold glazing is worn from the surface and the comb of one rooster appears to have a factory/production fix or small post-production repair (visible in close up). Neither is marked or dated.
