This gorgeous Celadon covered jar was made into a lamp by our parents in 1975.
The Painted white pedestal table, with its circular top over tapered shaft and circular base. Has a hole for lamp cord. The lovely result is a table/lamp set.
The soft Celadon is a pale blue green named after a type of ceramic that originated in China. Celadon is both a color and a glaze that was developed and refined during the 10th and 11th centuries. Celadon, the color, has undertones of gray and jade.
Table is 19"diameter and 24" high
Lamp is 26.5" high
