Really wonderful piece of art glass designed by Oiva Toikka for Iittala OyAb/Nuutajarvi Notsjo. This was made In Finland, circa 2000 (+/-).
From the delightful and desirable line of birds created by Toikka, comes this "Jeweled Kiwi", a limited edition (764/5000) piece, no longer in production and long since sold out from the company. Each bird is hand made, and features a design with colorful spots of glass against a whitish ground. It's obvious why this is one of the rare and most sought after of the Toikka birds.
Measures 8"x 3.75"x 6.25". In excellent condition, no chips or cracks. Engrave signed w/edition number to foot. Retains original, slightly worn label. Undated. No box, card or paperwork included.
