Century, around C. 1865, are these Wonderful gorgeous, pair of French, Dore' A. Sevres, Ground Vase/Palace Urns, designed and produced by the esteemed French Porcelain Foundry of S`evres. They are gilded gold, with predominately featured, a Lapis Lazuli dominate finish along with a Deep Royal or Eggplant purple ombre' or swirled finish, all a process of layering effect to create Lapis Lazuli stones, and all hand-done. Affixed with ring-form handles, and enriched in gilt gold leaf vines with domed covers, ball knobs, gilt edged rim, and gilded gold leaf details throughout. These were often made in pairs and considered a highly luxury item's) of distinction. .
