The hardcover book with illustrated laminate cover boards, and dust jacket is published by Reynal & Company in association with William Morrow & Company, New York. Printed in 1966, offset lithography by Tempo Graphic Arts, Inc. The coveted volume features a collection of 26 offset lithograph print color illustrated poster artworks of the artist Marc Chagall, with a compelling accompanied preface essay authored by Joseph K. Foster.

Marc Chagall ( 1887 - 1985 ) the French Russian born Jewish artist is known for both his sense of color and fluid aesthetic. The rare out of print 1st edition extra large format hardcover art book measures 10 1/4" W X 14 1/4" H X 1/2" D, with 72 pages. It features 26 single page full-color offset lithograph print poster illustrations, and 11 pages of introductory text.

It is in excellent condition consistent with age, light signs of handling, and moderate to medium wear to the the dust jacket. There are several small tears to the dust jacket that have been repaired with transparent archival tape. The book itself is in excellent clean vintage condition.
