This is a *seriously vintage * piece. I would guesstimate 40s or 50s at the absolute latest. It does have some damage to go with it. While the basket itself is sturdy, someone spilled something inside on the red gingham fabric and there's some yellowing. The elastic straps that hold plates in place have also seen some days, and fastener has a smidgen of rust. This is a much daintier and lightweight piece than the majority of my picnic baskets.
