In 1970, already in Lisbon, she begins to focus on Screen Printing Techniques on a large screen in Lisbon. Between 1972-1974 she lived in Luanda, Angola. In 1975 she began to study systematically the type of construction of the Musseques* with a grant from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
She elaborates several publications on the subject of the Musseques* and donates to the State of Angola all her works (texts and photographs) on the phenomenon. Since 1976, she has signed several publications, participated in seven solo exhibitions, from Lisbon to Zurich, and more than ten collectives. *Musseques are informal settlements in Angola, mostly associated with the sprawling slums around the capital, Luanda.
