Limoges; Porcelain Made in Portugal, by L'objet is this hand-made Porcelain, in a satin format of a Black or charcoal … Read more Limoges; Porcelain Made in Portugal, by L'objet is this hand-made Porcelain, in a satin format of a Black or charcoal swan and all it's plumage of feathers which are raised relief format and takes on texture to the entire piece but a visual display onto itself is this cachepot, and/or center piece, with accents and interior of gilded 24k gold. The inspiration is that of the 19th. Century within the Emire Period, when Porcelain pieces had such detailing and gilded gold. Also the neck is accentuated and curved to also indicate it may be utilized as a handle in which to move to and fro from a centerpiece to a table scape or what not.Maker' mark is on the underside. There are 2 of these available, and sold separately. In great condition. They have traveled from Manhattan, NYC, to The Hampton's and currently on Palm Beach Island in a Living Estate.
