These Swans were inspired by the 19th. Century Detailed Porcelain pieces of the Empire Period. A gorgeous and sophisticated raised relief detail of plumed feathers, an elongated neck, ALSO as use for a handle/i.e. transport, to and fro. It is a perfect counterpoint to a utilitarian and esthetic design element in one, form and function at its best, while the quality of manufacture notwithstanding herein.
