1980s Egyptian "Tabriz-Style" Runner. Hand woven with wool on cotton foundation in the Nile delta region of Northern Egypt. Fustat, the ancient capitol of Egypt on the Northern end of present day Cairo, is where these beautiful carpets handwoven in the 1980s.
