Queen Anne-style bonnet top highboy, made in 1978 by Cresent Furniture. Constructed from solid cherry, the design mimics Chippendale pieces from the 17th and 18th century with decorative features such as a swan's neck "broken" arch pediment, center finial, and cabriole legs. Eleven dovetailed drawers offer ample storage.

About the maker: Cresent Furniture was founded in 1947 in Gallatin, Tennessee. A family-owned and -operated company, Cresent became known for its solid wood construction (mainly Pennsylvania cherry, mahogany, and oak) and focus on timeless designs, developing a reputation for their high-quality reproductions of 17th- and 18th century pieces as well as Colonial, Art Deco, and Neoclassical works.
