Vintage Turkish hand-knotted small rug from Konya, Central Anatolia, 1970s, featuring warm emerald green and wine-red tones and authentic village craftsmanship — soft underfoot comfort, perfect for kitchen counters and interior entryways.
Ships fast from Turkey with no extra import costs for U.S. buyers.
This compact village rug was hand-knotted in the Konya region of Central Anatolia around the 1970s, created originally for use inside a family home rather than for commercial export. Bold geometric medallions and playful border motifs reflect the graphic language of Central Anatolian village weaving, with each knot placed by hand on a cotton foundation. All small rugs in this collection are true village-woven pieces — never produced for commercial resale and originally created for household use.
Its sturdy handle and cozy texture make it an inviting accent in the everyday home, bringing handcrafted character to modest spaces without overwhelming them. The proportions work beautifully in tight spots where you want a touch of warmth and pattern without sacrificing practicality. Perfect for use as a bedside accent, kitchen sink mat, or entryway layer.
