The screen has a bottom … Read more Spectacular Chinese export four-panel lacquered coromandel screen featuring hand-carved soapstone flora and birds decorated panels. The screen has a bottom window on each panel with parcel gilt borders framing the dramatic scenes. The vivid colors showcase the intricate carved flowers and birds with amazing detail. There are accents of mother of pearl throughout the screen. Each panel is supported by square legs. The opposite side is decorated with small gilt flowers and orbs. Beautifully crafted with an aged, faded patina and the original hardware. See less
