A one of kind midcentury "Tulu" (Turkish word for thick piled) rug from Central Turkey with a colorful geometric design and soft wool pile.
These rare small rugs were produced for daily use by nomads and villagers in Konya region of Central Anatolia until 1970s. Today they are considered collectible as well as being highly decorative as each one is one of a kind and representing a diminishing form of textile and tribal art.45.6'' x 63.7'' / 116 x 162 cm
