Glass technician. 1921-1924 apprenticeship as a glass technician, Geislingen an der Steige trade school; 1924–1925 studies at the State Technical School for the Glass Industry and Wood Carving, Zwiesel, with Ludwig Springer and Bruno Mauder; 1925 glass technician, WMF, development of Myra, ikora, Perlmutter, Lavaluna, among others; 1927‒1943 and 1948‒1954 manager, WMF glassworks; 1947-1948 as a prisoner of war, glass technician at Daum, Nancy; 1954-1956 operations manager, United Color Glass Works Zwiesel; 1956-1965 furnace manager and production manager at the Gral glassworks, Dürnau; Studies on Roman glass techniques; freelancer at the Gral glassworks since 1965; Development of the unique program; 1970-1980 freelancer for artistic unique and series production at the Gral Glassworks.
