This wonderful sideboard is a refined example of Italian design from the 70s and 80s, born from the creativity of Luigi Saccardo for the Gasparello company.
The model, belonging to the "Seven" line, stands out for its sinuous and soft lines, a perfect balance between elegance and functionality.
The protagonist material is maple briar or "partridge's eye", with its shiny surface that reflects the light and highlights the fascinating natural grain of the wood, giving the furniture a warm and sophisticated appearance.
Its structure develops lengthwise, with a solid and proportionate volume that conveys a sensation of stability and value.
The doors, with protruding handles, are characterized by circular shapes of wood, a choice that enhances the cleanliness of the shapes and the essential character of the design. Once opened, they reveal large storage spaces entirely covered in briar, making the sideboard not only an object of great aesthetic value, but also extremely functional.
The striking detail is the curvature of the corners, a device that softens the geometric rigor and gives the piece of furniture a welcoming and refined air.
It is a piece that fits easily into modern and vintage environments, perfect for those looking for furniture that combines artisanal quality with the timeless beauty of Italian design.
Excellent general conditions, some tiny signs of aging which give authenticity to the object, given its almost 50 years.
