The molded porcelain plate features a scalloped rim and hand-painted designs with gilt, colorful enamels, and soft blue cobalt underglaze. The center showcases stylized flower blossoms and foliage in underglaze cobalt.

Surrounding it are alternating panels of fabric designs and garden scenes with birds. Rich gilded medallions with red peony blossoms adorn the fabric panels, which also include blue-green or teal green elements.

Outside is a series of decorations carefully drawn in cobalt. The foot is unglazed while the base is glazed with a mark in the center. The foot is moderately deep and cut.

It has metal wall plate hanger attached to the back to easily display on a wall.

MEASUREMENTS
8 1/8 in (20.6 cm) diameter x 1 3/8 in (3.4 cm) tall. Weighs 1 lb 0 oz.

CONDITION
The plate has no chips or breaks. There is only light wear to the well and minor wear to the gilding. The plate has customary kiln flaws, such as bumps, tiny pitting to the surface and a couple of small black spot on the back. As noted, a removable metal wall hanger is attached to the plate. See less
