In soft pleasing colors, elegant figures decorate the top and front in a serene setting & the design of flowers and trees surrounding them continues around the rest of the box. The beautiful details continue with a metal latch on the front and matching handles on each side. The case still opens and closes easily. The inside is ready to hold anything you need easy access to, such as remotes, or would make a great place to store treasured cards and letters. The size of this box makes it a welcome addition to any tabletop, desk, or bookshelf display.

Antique items have been previously owned and loved, and will show some level of wear consistent with this prior use. There are some marks, scuffs, and age spots on this unique piece. Some bumping to corners and surface wear commensurate with age and use. One dark stain on the inside, in the back center area of the box. Dings and wear to the paint and hide have occurred over the years, as shown in the photos. All are consistent with its age and use and add to the character of this box.
