This shape of tops on the furnitures is typical of the 18th century. It is found in the louis xv style with curved legs and in the louis xvi style with straight legs. In france, during the 60's furniture styles from many periods have been remade. Elm burl, coated fabric on the top and brass. Signs of wear and tear on the coated canvas (please see photos).
